Anne
Seibold Drapeau is a managing partner of the Center for Leading
Organizations. Her client work focuses on consulting with a wide
range of clients on leadership development and frameworks and processes
for strategic alignment. She is a leading voice on the leadership
requirements of support functions within organizations, and how
they are best organized, structured and managed. She also has particular
interest in the leadership challenges of early stage businesses
and in fostering leadership in women.
Prior to her role in the founding of the Center for Leading Organizations,
she was an Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer at
VistaPrint, the world’s
leading firm in design and printing for small businesses, with more
than 12 million customers worldwide. At VistaPrint as a member of
the Senior Executive Team from the time of its initial public offering,
she was responsible for a number of corporate functions, along with
the entire scope of global recruiting, performance management, learning
and development, compensation and benefits, reward and recognition,
organizational design, employee communications and real estate.
She started her career in Corporate Finance at JP Morgan, and spent
several years at PepsiCo in a variety of Strategy and General Management
roles, including the management of a large field distribution and
sales force. She subsequently ran new business development for FTD,
with extensive activities in FTD-Vendor relationships in North and
South America and Europe. Prior to joining VistaPrint, she spent
almost ten years at the marketing services firm, Digitas, Inc. (now
part of Publicis Groupe) in a variety of executive roles, most recently
as Executive Vice President.
Annie has been a frequent speaker and instructor on a variety of
executive education programs for private firms, as well as on MBA
courses at both Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of
Management and the Sloan School at MIT. She is the co-author of
The Trusted Leader: Bringing Out the Best in Your People and Your
Company, published by Simon & Schuster, The Enemies of Trust,
published in Harvard Business Review, and a variety of articles
in a range of business publications.
Annie holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Bucknell University
and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth. She is a member
of the Commonwealth Institute and is a member of the Advisory Board
of the Citi Performing Arts Center (formerly the Wang Center) in
Boston.
